Our Company

Passionate Paws & Claws began its journey in 2009. Owners Christopher & Jessica Miklasz started out Pet Sitting and Administering Medications to Pets. They recognized the need for medical grooming while working with Veterinary Facilities in the Anne Arundel County area. With years of experience in Animal Husbandry, Animal Behavior, and Veterinary Medicine this team is committed to providing the best care for your companion animals.
They believe client education is very important and they like to share advice and answer questions on pet care tips & techniques.
The professional experience of the team allows them to properly handle pets that may be fearful or aggressive. They are able to handle pets that have trouble standing due to previous surgical operations, arthritis, and other medical conditions. As a salon they regularly turn around pets that were “refused” at other grooming facilities due to behavior or their medical status. These pets are scheduled appropriately not only to accomplish a great new haircut but most importantly they are able to provide a thorough and compassionate experience during their services.
